Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid
The Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid boasts the latest designed display system, the Porsche Advanced Cockpit, with touch-sensitive panels and individually configurable displays. There are two seven-inch screens either side of the rev counter for the driver. The intuitive operating principle of the hybrid-specific displays is similar to that used in the ultra exclusive Porsche 918 Spyder supercar. The power meter provides driver data such as the amount of electrical energy currently being used as well as that recovered through recuperation.
The Panamera E-Hybrid features a 2.9 litre V6 bi-turbo engine, the electric motor is also available to deliver additional power at all times. The all-wheel Panamera is controlled by a new, efficient shifting Porsche eight-speed Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission.
The driver can reach the highest level of road performance using the "Sport" and "Sport Plus" modes. The V6 bi-turbo engine is active continuously in these two modes. In "Sport" mode, the battery charge is always maintained at a minimum level to ensure there are sufficient e-boost reserve capacities when needed by the car.
"Sport Plus" mode is all about maximum performance for the driver and allows the Panamera E-Hybrid to reach its top speed of 278 km/h. This Sport Plus mode also recharges the vehicle battery as quickly as possible with the help of the advanced V6 bi-turbo engine.
