ENQUIRE FOR THE BMW X5 xDrive 4.0i (Petrol) or the X5 M50d (Diesel)
The new BMW X5 (2019 model) is a robust vehicle with sporty and imposing increased proportions; the wheelbase is 42mm longer, the length of the car is 36mm longer, 66mm wider and 19mm higher.
The blistering M performance of the latest BMW X5 M50d (Diesel)is largely down to the efficient yet powerful diesel engine at work under its bonnet. From its displacement of 3.0 litres, the BMW M Performance model's six-cylinder in-line unit extracts a max output of 294 kW/400 hp at 4,400 rpm and generates maximum torque of 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) between 2,000 and 3,000 rpm.
The engine on the X5 xDrive 40i boasts a free revving nature for the driver from its six cylinder 3.0 unit which pushes out 340 bhp. It completes the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in just 5.5 seconds. The X5 xDrive 40i fuel consumption averages 8.8 - 8.5 litres per 100 kilometres (32.1 - 33.2 mpg imp) and CO2 emissions are 200 - 193 grams per kilometre.
Customers looking for extra exclusivity for the exterior design of the car will be able to choose from the extended individual high-gloss shadow line, tinted headlight and rear lights, painted BMW Individual brake callipers and 21-inch BMW Individual light-alloy wheels.
The new BMW X5 comes with extensive driver assistance systems such as the standard Cruise Control but also the Collision Warning and Pedestrian Warning which alerts the driver when cyclists are detected and there is a risk of collision.
A new safety system was also introduced; the Emergency Stop Assistant.
If the driver is in the incapacity of driving because of a medical emergency, the car will activate the warning lights and depending on the driving situation and the surroundings, the car will be brought to a standstill on the lane, on the side of the road or on the hard shoulder. It will also automatically call emergency services, so they can be alerted of the incident and arrive on site faster.
Newly added is the integration of Microsoft Office 365 turning the car into a mobile office where users can use Skype for business, manage emails, contacts, and appointments without the need to use a mobile phone to access these data while driving.
