Mercedes-Benz EQS Import

The Mercedes-Benz EQS import is the first all-electric luxury saloon from Mercedes-EQ and also the first model to be based on the modular architecture for luxury and executive-class electric vehicles. The first two fully electric models on the market will be the:

• EQS 450+
• EQS 580 4MATIC

It is probably as well one of the more sustainable vehicles on the market. Mercedes-Benz put an emphasis on carbon-neutral and recycled materials from development to production stage and beyond. For example, Mercedes-Benz guarantee that energy from renewable energy sources is fed into the grid for charging current sourced via Mercedes me Charge.

And if it wasn’t enough, the new Mercedes EQS import is also the most aerodynamic production car in the world, thanks to a close working relationship between the aerodynamicists and designers of the German manufacturer. This means that the car will be even more silent that most conventional EVs on the market.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS import will offer ranges up to 770 kilometres. Power for up to 300 kilometres will recharge in just 15 minutes.

As an exceptionally intelligent vehicle, the EQS has up to 350 sensors.

The new electric model will have automatic comfort doors at the front and rear. Which means that when the driver approaches the car, the door handles will extend. As the drivers approaches further, the driver's door will open automatically.

The driver will also be able to park and unpark the car via a smartphone using Remote Parking Assist.

And with the optional DRIVE PILOT, the EQS will be able to drive in conditionally automated mode at up to 60 km/h where traffic density is high or in tailbacks.

Finally, it is impossible to not mention the highlight in the interior of the car; the new curved screen unit going across the dashboard and giving separate control areas for the driver and the front passenger.
