When you choose to purchase your prestige vehicle through Import Marques, we will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you receive a comprehensive and professional service. There are five steps of your purchase, from choosing your vehicle all the way to its delivery.

Choose your vehicle you wish to export
Whether you're looking for a mid-range SUV or top-end sports car, we will source your vehicle from stock, or we will arrange a personalised factory build where you can choose your own optional extras and specific colours. Our range of export vehicles can be viewed on our CAR IMPORTS page. If a car you require is not listed in this section, let us know which model you are looking to export and we will endeavour to assist you.
We also offer a service for UK based buyers to import a RHD or LHD vehicle from abroad where our UK car import service provides the full service from UK registration to delivery. - 2
Communicate with one of our Export Consultants
If you are looking for a car from stock, we will try our best to source a vehicle that meets your criteria with regards to specifications such as electric sunroof or alloy wheels. If you are looking into a custom factory build export vehicle, we can discuss your exact requirements together and provide a fully costed quotation for the order to be placed. Either way, one of our helpful in-house specialists will be able to help you with your vehicle export request.

Flexible payment terms
We can liaise with you to discuss the flexible options available, which can range from a bank TT transfer payment when the vehicle is ready for export to a Letter of Credit payment process if that suits. Our in-house vehicle export specialists can advise you accordingly.

Shipping to your destination
We will organise either sea or air freight from Europe to your destination country (fully insured). All our prices include freight costs when quoted.

Collect locally and the transaction is complete!
Once the car has cleared your local customs, you are then able to drive away and we hope you are then a completely satisfied customer.

What does Import Marques do?
Import Marques is a UK based specialist in exporting prestige vehicles to buyers around the world. Since 2001 we have sourced new and low mileage prestige cars in right hand drive (RHD) and left hand drive (LHD), handled the export paperwork and shipped them to trade and private clients in over 50 countries.Do you supply RHD (right hand drive) and LHD (left hand drive) cars?
We supply RHD cars for countries that drive on the left (UK, East Africa, New Zealand etc), and LHD cars for countries that drive on the right. At all times we will provide you with pricing according to the correct drive side, for either brand new vehicles from stock or a new build to your own choice of specification.What are the vehicle order options open for buyers?
We can provide you with brand new vehicles, from stock or to your own custom specification, and low mileage vehicle examples. Some countries have specific import criteria on whether used vehicles can be imported, but we will review all scenarios when an enquiry is made.Do our cars have VAT or tax included when we export them?
Our vehicles are quoted to buyers as VAT-free exports, so no local EU, US or UK tax is included. You will pay your local taxes and duties in your country of destination when the vehicle arrives there.How is the car shipped to my country?
We arrange fully insured sea freight, with air freight available on request, and can quote on a CIF basis (cost, insurance and freight to your port) or CFR basis (cost and freight). We prepare the export documents, including the commercial invoice and bill of lading, and arrange any pre-shipment roadworthiness inspection your country requires. Customs clearance and registration are completed in your country on arrival, either by yourself or, in certain regions, with local import assistance we can arrange. Most buyers pay by international bank transfer (TT) when the car is ready for export, and we can also work with a letter of credit where applicable. We quote in GBP, USD or EUR. We also accept cryptocurrency, but only through an official crypto platform invoice sent directly by us. Please see paying for a car with cryptocurrency.
Do you sell to dealers as well as private buyers?
Yes. Independent dealerships and other trade buyers around the world purchase the latest model year vehicles from us for our transparent export prices, and of course we supply private buyers too. Dealer and trade buyers benefit from our bulk ordering discounts on the latest models available. Every enquiry is handled by a dedicated export consultant from quote to shipping.Can you help me import a LHD (left hand drive) car into the UK?
Yes. We help UK buyers bring left hand drive cars in from Europe or elsewhere, handling the customs entry and NOVA notification, any vehicle approval or MOT the car needs, and registration with the DVLA. We also handle and manage IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) inspections for non EU vehicles being imported. Our UK import guide explains each step.
Can you supply electric vehicles?
Yes. We export a growing range of electric and plug in hybrid models, including luxury EVs such as the Porsche Cayenne Electric, Ferrari Luce, Tesla Model 3 and the Range Rover Electric, in both right hand drive and left hand drive. Tell us the model and your destination and we will confirm availability, specification and export pricing.
