1. Are the vehicles right hand drive ?
   Yes we supply RHD vehicles with the steering wheel on the right side of the vehicle as expected. 
2. Is there an age limit on cars being imported into the Cayman Islands ?
   Yes -  vehicles with a model year of eight years or older generally cannot be imported (in 2026, that means model year 2018 or earlier), and the limit rolls forward each year. Classic and antique cars are exempt, so sought-after older vehicles can still be imported.
3. Do electric vehicles attract a lower import duty rate when importing ?
   Yes they do. Up to a value of USD$34,800 there is 0% import duty on an EV. Above that value it rises to 10% duty. 
4. What other import costs do I need to consider in addition to the duty ?
   There is an environmental tax levied as well which is a flat fee which is charged at USD$1,200 for vehicles imported up to a value of USD$96,000 and USD$2,400 for vehicles with a value above USD$96,000 value. In addition there is an Environmental Impact Fee which is a flat value of USD$300.00.
5. How can I submit an enquiry ?

6. What happens next when the enquiry is sent ?

7. What choices will I be presented with ?  
   We'll present you with stock ready now and new build order options. Our aim is to find you a solution that you are 100% happy with. New build order options will allow you to select a new model to order with your own choice of optional extras and paint colours if there are no stock vehicles available. 
8. How can I proceed with an order ? 
   Once you've selected your car for proceeding with, we will raise the order form/sales contract and you can start the payment process with our company.
9. Is shipping included ?
   We will arrange for the car to be transported by sea container to George Town, Grand Cayman on a fully insured CIF basis. 
10. Who handles local Customs Clearance and local registration?
    Our local representative can assist with this whole process on your behalf - there is no need to worry.  There is an annual DVDL vehicle licence cost which must be applied when registration occurs. Our local agent can advise on this cost.
